Which online stock trading is best for someone my age and with my income?
▐▀▀▼▀▀▌ ► Jimmy ◄ ▐▄▄▲▄▄▌ asked:
I can open an account for $1,000, but I don’t want to be paying high trade fees If I’m not buying huge volumes of stock. I was looking at this site: http://online-stock-trading-review.toptenreviews.com/ Moneywise it’s saying OptionsHouse is the best, but they have a $3,000 startup.
This is not spam. I legitimately posted it and I legitimately need help since I’m new to this.
If it gets reported again and Yahoo Answers brings back my last question you realize you will lose your ability to report questions. So, next time you see something actually breaking the rules you won’t be able to do a thing about it. That’s a good way to ***** up your yahoo answer’s account and credibility in the community.

The only on-line broker I know that will open an account for $1,000 is ShareBuilder. At $9.95 they do not have the lowest commissions, but if you do a lot of trading in a $1,000 account you are going to be paying an unacceptable percentage of your portfolio in commissions with any broker. If you want to invest systematically (instead of trading) the $4.00 rate at ShareBuilder is quite competitive.
Between pattern day trading rules and free-riding rules trying to do short-term trading in a $1,000 account is very restricted. If you are not familiar with those rule a google search will get you a good explanation.
